As we continue with No-Stain November, be sure to remember: you can ALWAYS get a stain out as long as you scrub it right away with either club soda (does wonders), or cold to lukewarm water and either hand soap, laundry detergent, or a very teensy bit of dish soap (any soap you've got on hand, really). We're not kidding — ANY stain! If you don't want to get your clothes wet, try a stain-removal pen (think Tide-to-go) for quick, in-the-moment stain fixes. Stains: super annoying, but ALWAYS treatable. Has your favorite white tee (simple, but a total staple) started yellowing around the edges? Sweat stains, particularly of the armpit genre, are the worst- but don't fret, fashionistas! Before condemning a white tee to the trash or to a fate of harsh bleach, try this nifty trick: spray the your shirt with lemon juice before you wash it and, say bye-bye to sweat stains! |
